(music) It was like yesterday when I held your hand under the city lights Dancing the night away as I gently stared in your beating eyes Thinking, could this be real?
That I've found my perfect melody to my song, that's when we kissed And then I asked you "Have you ever sat and wondered why the birdies sing Or how the sun leaves our horizon and comes back again?"
I can see how we don't have that picture perfect kind of love But I know one thing, I'm in love with my best friend 'Nd that's perfect to me, ooh, oh-oh, yeah We were never apart, every breath you took was a part of mine We could sit and do nothing And no doubt, we'd still lose the track of time You said that you needed me, but I know I needed you more And that's when I held you, huh, and asked you "Have you ever sat and wondered why the birdies sing Or how the sun leaves our horizon and comes back again?"
I can see how we don't have that picture perfect kind of love But I know one thing, I'm in love with my best friend, eh Have you ever sat and wondered why the birdies sing Or how the sun leaves our horizon and comes back again?
I can see how we don't have that picture perfect kind of love But I know one thing, I'm in love with my best friend And that's perfect to me, ooh, oh-oh, yeah Perfect to me, Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah Perfect to me And that’s perfect to me This song’s titled Perfect to Me for you folks, mahalo.

Eh we should, we should play that more often brah.
I feel like, ooh, I feel like that was one really good one.
Are you guys having a good time so far with us this evening you guys?
Umm, here’s a song that I wrote it was called actually, it’s called Aunty Hulu’s Beef Stew.
And a quick moʻolelo on this one, was, I think it was Merrie Monarch 2015?
Wrong.
I was wrong already, 17, 18?
It’s one of the 2000s.
There’s a lot to choose from there, just you choose.
Um, and my good friend, my good friend Napua Greig won overall that year and her mother, Aunty Hulu Lindsey made her famous beef stew.
And you know, whenever I’m there, I don’t know, I don’t know what it is when they look at me, but people are always like, “Brah, my aunty makes the best beef stew.” Maybe because it looks like I’m a beef stew connoisseur?
I’m not a, I don’t know, I hope they’re asking everyone and not just me.
Oh you gotta try this and I’m like, “Yeah for sure.
I’ll make my way there.” So I go there, I make a bowl of beef stew and I’m not going to lie it was one of my favorite beef stews of all time.
And I actually had her teach me how to make it and it was so good I made a song out of it.
And then one day I’m going to make a hula out of it too.
So stay tuned for that one.
Here we go.
(music) Aunty Hulu, you know it’s true, Aunty Hulu, you know it’s true, Ainʻt nobody make a killa beef stew like you do You got my taste buds looking Searching for the kitchen that you’re cooking in You got me running, running, running for that door I hope you made enough for the zoo cause I’m coming for more Aunty Hulu, you know it’s true, Aunty Hulu, you know it’s true, Ain’t nobody make a killa beef stew, like you do You know you got the magic touch And I ‘uala love you oh so much With that boneless short rib Oh, I like your style I hope you got a pillow too cause I’ll be out for a while Aunty Hulu, you know it’s true, Aunty Hulu, you know it’s true, Ainʻt nobody make a killa beef stew, like you do.
