America, America, God shed his grace on thee, And crown thy good with brotherhood From sea to shining sea!

And Mrs.
Ni Chang Wong of the songbook committee makes the presentation.
Ni Chang Wong: Now this songbook has six different sections in different colors.
Isn't this beautiful?
One section is devoted to patriotic songs.
And then another old favorite songs, fun and action songs, Hawaiian songs, ethnic and folk songs, seasonal songs, and one page of ʻukulele chords.
There are 240 songs in this book, 42 of which have ʻukulele chords.
And the committee would like to explain that we decided to have more songs in the book.
If we had more songs with ʻukulele chords our way, we would not be able to have that many songs.
And I think in many clubs, if you attend the meetings, they will tell you what chords to put on.
So, attend every meeting.
In your order for a copy of the songbook, if your order is not in yet, please do it through your club chairman.

(applause) (Singing) One toke over the line, sweet Jesus One toke over the line Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over the line Waiting for the train that goes home, sweet Mary Hoping that the train is on time Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over the line Who do you love?
I hope it's me I've been changing, as you can plainly see I felt the joy and I learned about the pain That my momma said If I should choose to make a part of me Would surely strike me dead And now I'm one toke over the line, sweet Jesus One toke over the line Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over the line Waiting for the train that goes home, sweet Mary Hoping that the train is on time Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over the line I sail away a country mile And now I'm returning and showing off my smile I met all the girls and I loved myself a few And to my surprise Like everything else I've been through It opened up my eyes And now I'm one toke over the line, sweet Jesus One toke over the line Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over the line Don't you know I'm just waiting for the train that goes home, sweet Mary Hoping that the train is on time Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over the line Don't you know I'm just waiting for the train that goes home, sweet Mary Hoping that the train is on time (Sitting downtown) Sitting in a railway station One toke over the line I want to be one toke over the line, sweet Jesus One toke over the line (Sitting downtown) Sitting in a railway station One toke over the line Waiting for the train that goes home Hoping that the train is on time (Sitting downtown) Sitting in a railway station One toke over the line Sitting downtown in a railway station One toke over line One toke, one toke over the line BB: And that’s Pau Hana Years for today, a music festival, America, the Beautiful, presented by senior citizens from Windward Oʻahu, Recreation Department District 4—Kahuku to Waimānalo—all from here at the HIC.
